See
the city, sleep in the country, just 30 minutes from
Victoria, in Sooke BC on scenic lower Vancouver Island.

|
| The
word SKOOKUM is taken from the Chinook Trade Jargon
of the west coast of Canada and means simply, "Really
Good." We believe you will have a really good time
at SKOOKUM Bed & Breakfast as you relax in our west
coast style home on three private forested and landscaped
acres. We offer you seclusion and comfort just 30 minutes
from Victoria, B.C., in the coastal town of Sooke.
|
 |
Relax
in comfort in your private upper level suite. King or
twin beds, fluffy comforters, cozy robes and slippers
await your presence. Unwind before the fire, watch television
on the 36" TV in your private sitting room, read
a book from our library or watch a video. Revitalize
your body and soul with a selection of luxury bath products
in your private bath, listen to soothing CD's in the
comfort of your room, watch the deer while you sit on
the sun-drenched deck surrounded by beautifully landscaped
gardens, or relax in the shady fir and cedar forest.

 |
Enjoy
a stroll along the Galloping Goose Hiking and Cycling
Trail to our beautiful Sooke Basin where kayaking, sailing,
cycling, whale watching and salmon fishing adventures
await. Perhaps a walk through one of the many provincial
parks just a short drive from Skookum Bed and Breakfast
would be of interest to you. For the more adventuresome,
there are challenging hikes in East Sooke Park and along
the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail.

"Thank you for a great stay - the
cup of tea when we arrived was exactly right. This was our
last vacation for the year and staying here was the best of
finales."
